Since Palin Won't Answer Questions, It's Safe To Dismiss Her At This Time
Edited on Fri Sep-05-08 05:23 AM by IWantAnyDem
Focus on McCain. Until she's back on the campaign scene, Palin should be ignored. She's making no real news while hunkered down in tutoring sessions.

Ignore Caribou Barbie. She means nothing right now. McCain means everything.

2. I'd give her a few days R&R...
Then I want her ass on a stump. The MSM will be (and must be) relentless. No kid gloves.

3. The media will take care of her. Or better yet, the NE.
The MSM must be furious at the McCain campaign's outright contempt for them.

10. Got some news for you Marsala. . .
Corporate media will not do the job unless we needle them.

WE are the media now, kiddo.

4. The media must ignore her until she faces them during a press conference
or until she makes the rounds of the political talk shows. Until then, she should be completely ignored.

5. It frightens me that now, while she is sequestered, she is being
tutored on how to address the things that are crucial to the world. A woman who knows nothing about the United States Government is now, I'm sure, being briefed on information considered "secret" by the same government that will not allow the rest of us information due to National Security issues.

The choice of Palin is an insult to all of us. She strikes me as someone who has a bitter and vindictive side, I don't fall for her baloney. Is John McSame so contemptuous of all of us that this is the one he wants to guide this country should he die?

I can't think of a greater example of "I don't care-ism" than this obviously unqualified choice. It is obvious that Rove has not gone into retirement. Cheney either. Time to ship **** back to the farm and have another puppet at the helm.

6. Palin doesn't matter
If she did, she would be doing a victory lap on the Sunday talking head shows.

7. So, go focus. Pick a topic, start a thread, not just a lecture.

9. You're kidding.... WHY ARE THEY HIDING HER??
Here's an official that could end up in the HIGHEST POSITION in government.. appointed, not installed at the behest of the People. .

Everything we've found out about her is disturbing from her end-times beliefs to her "family values for everyone but ME" life. And now, after a canned and heavily scripted "introduction" she's shunted off and insulated from every single question we may have about a potential President..

and we should leave her alone??

oh hell no

14. Sure, but include his stupidity in this VP decision as a reason not to vote for him.
That's how you keep the queasiness America's mushy center HAS to have about Palin in the back of their minds, without making it seem as if you're focused on the distraction.

13. Eh, we use the tools we're given, and Palin is one of those tools.
Every day she's allowed to hide because Daddy-Preznit-in-waiting is protecting her from the Big Bad Media is another day she's coached on talking points. It wouldn't hurt to call her out and say it's time for this brilliant choice for Veep stand on her own two feet. In a nice way, of course.

Moreover, McCain's decision to pick someone that almost nobody outside of the right-wing-nuttysphere knew of or cared about, his obvious lack of knowledge about her background (they can't cover up the anti-Semitic crap SHE HEARD WHILE IN CHURCH or her courtship of a secessionist organization that literally hates America) is worth bringing up now and then. Obviously his stupidity on foreign and domestic issues trumps that, but this is about character too, and McCain failed big-time.

16. Yup.
We need to hammer McCain hard. He's the real threat, if you want to call it that. Palin is just a puppet.
