"I Fell in Love with My Country...
...when I was a Prisoner in someone else's country..."

So the part about growing up in a free state meant jack shit? Picture an Admiral's home and the servants both naval and native. That in your lifetime nothing ever lacked upper-class standards, that food and housing and utilities were all a basic given, without care or doubt. That admission to one of the service academies was ones birthright.

That after admission you could be a lower tier player and still be sent to a coveted "jets slot".

And after all that-a life of ease, a free college slot, a million dollar training at the expence of his "friends" and fellow citizens, he never considered his country did everything but blow him until someone else-the North Vietnamese-had a contrasting view???

I guess all I'm saying is that John McCain is a lying sack of shit. I have read dozens of bios from military pilots, and my friends, each of them thought they were pretty lucky guys even without being captured...and each of them loved our country.
