The most important thing in politics is sincerity.
Once you can fake that, everything else is easy.

It's incredible to watch so many voters willing to buy snake oil every four years. And even though their lives are poisoned by what the reThugs have sold them, they can't wait to rush out for another dose.

This minority of fools keep making elections close enough for the GOP to steal what they can't win. And watching this "convention-of-the-insane", there's a good chance we'll see it happen again.

As scary as Bush and Cheney are, picture a world in which an unstable man and an extremely fundie wingnut woman are in control of the levers of power and the most devastating arsenal in the history of the world.

I am clinging to the belief/hope that Obama will win the biggest landslide in American history. But what do we do if the reThugs manage to steal it again?
