3. In fairness, I have to say this..

EVERY mayor, governor TRIES to get as much money from the federal government as they possibly can..so in this case, I cannot really criticize her.

Politicians always run on promises to "help" their town/county/state, and that usually comes in the form of trying to get it from "somewhere else", since the locals never want to tax themselves to pay for things.

If they do not deliver, and show people that they HAVE delivered, they often get voted out.

The sad part is that the money often gets wasted.
