I just came home and checked my messages and much to my absolute disgust, I found that * had left a pre-recorded message telling me about absentee ballots being sent out by the GOP. Anybody else getting this message? And what can I/we do with these ballots to fuck with the bastards? Now excuse me while I go smash my answering machine with a large chunk of concrete.

8. Don't throw the machine out...

just perform an exorcism. Call a priest, sprinkle with holy water (not my cup of tea - but this calls for drastic measures!). Seal in plastic and put it in isolation for a few weeks, grab a can of Lysol, have your friends call and call and call and leave messages, erase, do it again, erase, do it again. (Kinda like wash, rinse, repeat.)O8)

for repukes (using untraceable address). Then, fill them out the "right" way. This gives us votes and, when they go to vote in November, they will not be allowed to because an absentee ballot has already been cast.

Dirty trick - yes. But not any worse than sending armed thugs to prevent people from voting. Fight fire with fire.

10. This must be some new Rethug tactic.

Inundate people with absentee ballots even though they did not request them. People in PA have gotten these same recorded calls. The call makers are in serious peril since this runs afoul of PA law which requires that a person who wishes to vote absentee actually complete an application requesting the ballot and certifying which of the applicable statutory reasons exist that would allow him or her to vote absentee.
