Please call the Texas State Bar Right Now
I have spoken to a reporter at a Texas newspaper. She called the Texas state bar and they said that NO COMPLAINTS had been filed against John O'Neill. However, if the State Bar receives a substantial number of complaints, AND confirms it, this paper will consider doing a story on the ethics complaint against him.

IF you have filed a complaint, please respond to this post and let me know when you filed it.

1. Not Just Coordination - Quid Pro Quo
John E. O'Neill, author of Unfit for Command, is an attorney licensed and practicing in Texas. Rumor has it he thinks he will be appointed a federal judge...

Wait a minute, what if the Bush campaign isn't just coordinating with O'Neill, but offering to grant him a judicial appointment (if Bush is re-elected)? Wouldn't this go beyond any 527 coordination? Of course, the Democrats would fight it but if Republicans maintain (or increase) control of the Senate, it wouldn't do much good.

Of course, maybe that's just a crazy idea and I am too paranoid...
