I wish I could view an alternate universe where McCain picked Paris Hilton or Gary Coleman

The press coverage would be roughly the same... a daring pick, reaches the young, women, extremely short African-Americans, whatever.

I would like seeing the convention hall of crazy old white people chanting along with Gary, "What you talking about Obama?"

Or the professional RNC hacks talking about how Paris Hilton manages Paris Hilton enterprises and is better qualified to be president than Obama.

I've been trying to imagine a republican VP pick the media would have universally panned, but Jeffrey Dahmer died in prison so I'm drawing a blank.

4. On August 29th, I think I experienced a warp in reality,

and stepped into an alternate universe. Also, on that day, I saw an eccentrically dressed man step out of a blue box that looked like an old phone booth, in an empty lot behind an abandoned warehouse. The strange thing is that the blue box wasn't there before that day.
