Tonight was a good night for us guys

Think about it. This is a change election. The people are pissed. Pissed about their home losing value or even losing it altogether. Pissed about health care costs or the lack of it. Pissed about jobs and the inability to find one that pays the bills. Pissed about pissing away our future and world opinion with a war that is a complete and utter failure.

So who are they pissed at? Bingo. President Douchebagg. President Douchebagg(R). What are some of the traits of said Douchebagg? He's a cowboy that shoots from the hip and talks tough. A Douchebagg who spouts never ending tirades on anyone who doesn't agree with him. A Douchebagg that tries to scare at every opportunity. A Douchebagg that hasn't once, truly tried to work in a real bi-partisan way to fix anything.

So, what did we hear about tonight? An unmitigated, unceasingly blowing wind of hate, fear and talking tough. The freeps loved it as we saw. Indies on the other hand don't buy into it, they're Indies afterall. They just want the pain to stop, and for someone to step up to the plate and offer some "hope" of an improvement. They don't expect miracles, they just want a modicum of progress in a direction that isn't deeper into the hole.

This is why tonight we won. Not one time tonight did the party of fear and loathing offer any prospect of anything changing.

*I apologize to any douchebaggs I may have offended.

1. I agree..
Plus I think there are a lot of signs that McCain has really pissed the press off. There's going to be major blowback from the press.
