Republicans stupid not to have nominated Huckabee
He is the common man. He has a great speaking presence, and is very likable. They really blew it not nominating him.

13. He has defended Rev. Wright.
And his own sermons are under lock and key buried in the Ozark mountains. I bet he said some crazy stuff.

14. It's not what went wrong for him. He was the stalking horse to take out Romney.
I think we'll be seeing him in 2012. He'll only be 57.

8. Huck
I bet he was offered the VP spot, but declined so he can run against President Obama in 2012.

Huck is a dangerous one, though. Hopefully, the other Repukes will feel so threatened by him that they'll arrange a bit of the ol' character assassination, before he goes up against us. Plus, with all those exorcisms he performs, he might put a voodoo hex on our candidate!

after him. The contrast will be interesting.

18. They didn't want to waste him on this election......
which they assume they will lose.

Either that, or McCain whined until the rest of the Republican party agreed to back him. It was only about, what, six months ago that he was behind everyone running in the GOP. There's a story behind that "amazing comeback".

21. Huckabee is the most credible threat
but I figure he's WAAAAAAAAAAAAY to populist to be allowed to move forward by the corporate fascist wing.

23. I hate to say it, but I agree with you
I don't agree with a single word out of that man's mouth, but I think he's genuine, and that carries a lot of water.

McCain doesn't seem genuine.

27. He is very likable
I was afraid we'd end up with another amiable dunce at one point. Even knowing what a horrible governer he's been, I can't bring myself to loathe him very much. He truly is someone I could get along well with, and I actually enjoy hearing him speak, even as part of my soul shrivels at the thought of what he's saying.

Thank god the powers that be swept him aside. He's dangerous.

28. I don't like a lot of Huckabee's policies.
Having said that, I have always thought he could be the biggest threat. If he were to modify some ideas a little

to swing to the center, he would be scarey. He is likeable and he has a sense of humor - think SNL (his Obama gun joke was bad).

All the others act like they have sticks up their butt. He's the only one of them I could even think about possibly having

a conversation with. He doesn't give off the aura of privilege and smugness. I just hope he stays too right.
