Governor Linda Lingle was with Palin when she went into labor

"We were at a national governors meeting on energy in Dallas when Sarah went into labor," said Lingle. "She handled it remarkably, and it's a great example of her talents and toughness. After the keynote speaker canceled at the last minute, Sarah stepped in. She gave an outstanding address on strategic energy policy. Then she boarded a plane back to Alaska to deliver."

Though Lingle didn't know it, Palin was aware this delivery would be different from her others. She would give birth to little Trig, who has Down syndrome. Palin's decision to give Trig life has become a rallying cry for social conservatives.

1. What about Palin's decision to endanger Trig's life?

8. How do you know that she endangered little Trigs life?
That's pure conjecture on your part, you don't have a lick of proof
but you keep shouting it. Attack the womans policies, they're the real
problem.

10. If she was experiencing contractions or if she was leaking fluid, she endangered his life
by not seeking immediate medical attention, since she knew that he was not due for another month. If she was having contractions or if she was leaking fluid, she endangered his life when she boarded a plane for a long flight back to Alaska. She risked delivering a premature baby who was already diagnosed with Downs Syndrome on a plane without adequate medical staff and equipment.

If the story that she reported herself is the truth, she endangered the life of her child by her poor judgment.

13. Bottom line, she's against abortion, but if the special needs baby
happens to die because she went to the airport rather than a hospital, that is - according to Republican reasoning - nothing more than a sad tale of a mother trying to bring her child into the world at home.

15. With that reasoning, I guess if he hadn't survived they could just chalk it up
to God's will.

16. I am a mother. The woman CHOSE to travel by air thousands of miles at the age of 44
while pregnant with her FIFTH child which she KNEW for a fact had issues. The woman CHOSE to get back on a plane, not telling attendants that she was in labor, to fly back to Alaska because she didn't want her child born in Texas. These were all CHOICES she made. Yes, they were personal choices, but at some point if your personal choices are wildly out of the ordinary and dangerous, they become an indication of your general personality. Hers seems a little reckless where her family is concerned. The GOP are the ones who have made 'family values' a cornerstone of the political process in the last two decades. If they put it on the table, don't expect the rest of us not to look.

3. God I hope the National Enquirer is on this...
Considering the MSM has shown they're too chickenshit to follow-up.

I happen to think that her judgment in this situation is a very important issue. This is the only crisis situation we know that she's had to deal with, and I'd have to describe her response as an epic fail.

7. This "speaker cancelled at the last minute" stuff is BULLSHIT.
The other story said that even when she called her doc at 4 am, she was all concerned about wanting to stay and give her speech

"Early Thursday -- she thinks it was around 4 a.m. Texas time -- she consulted with her doctor, family physician Cathy Baldwin-Johnson, who is based in the Valley and has delivered lots of babies, including Piper, Palin's 7-year-old.

Palin said she felt fine but had leaked amniotic fluid and also felt some contractions that seemed different from the false labor she had been having for months.

"I said I am going to stay for the day. I have a speech I was determined to give," Palin said. She gave the luncheon keynote address for the energy conference.

14. Well, isn't this interesting?
Yes it does conflict with the official story.

I'd like to find out who really was lined up to be the keynote speaker. It shouldn't be that difficult to find out.
