Where are Rudy and Mitt? Could either be replacing Palin?

There's some speculation that McCain could drop Palin. Rudy was supposed to
speak tonight, but was replaced by Thompson. Mitt was rumored to be on top
of the veep list before Palin was chosen. What do you think?

ex-governor who is pro-choice when he's in Massachusetts but anti-choice when he's speaking to Republican gatherings.

Both lost heroic polling advantages in the 2007-2008 primary season.

At least one and probably both would piss off fundie nutbags coast to coast.

So yes. I think they might very well be under consideration. The GOP at this point is something of a funhouse. No one knows what to expect or why.
