McCain breaks silence; Defends Failin; Seems like they have decided to stick
McCain breaks silence of the last couple of days. He defends Failin. It seems like they have decided to stick with her through the convention, at least. We'll see how long it lasts.

Maybe it is just CYA in advance of Palin withdrawing "for personal reasons", so that McCan't will not have his bootmark too blatantly visible on her rear end.

3. I'm inclined toward your CYA scenario.
This may be the "I'm behind Sarah 1000%" moment, to be followed shortly by Palin's withdrawal "to look after the needs of my family, etc."
