2. Not our frying pan, not our fire!
It's McCain's and the GOP's party.

I can't stand LIEberman, but I still think he has more experience than
Palin. At least he has some understanding of the global picture. Look how he's always having to correct McSame.

3. i admit i would love to see the 2 Joes go at it in the debate
and Biden would not have to worry about having to hold back because of appearances.

6. I think I would rather have him talk to Putin.
As much as I despise him, she makes him look like John Adams. But maybe that's just me.

9. Hey, if he's stupid enough to select Palin... don't be surprised.
I don't think I could take 2 non-stop months of hearing Lieberman's voice on t.v. I'd have to tune out.

19. The Fundies don't like 'em ...
... and neither do the Bigot Base. Put a woman, a black man or a Jew on the ticket, and you've just lost the attention of a lot of traditional GOP voters.

They have to. They'll stab them in the back at every opportunity, but they're also in full support of Israel, since it means that it'll usher White Jayzus back so they can go to HAYVUN and all them dirty non-thems (including the Jews) will burn in Hell forver and ever! And people wonder why I'm agnostic.

15. Any scenario that has McCain winning is inherently terrifying . . .
Now -- given the highly visible confirmation of his incredibly bad judgment -- more than ever. But does anyone here think that Veepgate *isn't* a gaffe at least three orders of magnitude larger than Mansiongate? I thought all along McCain would self-destruct on the campaign trail, and while I'm usually wrong when I predict future events, I'm beginning to feel more prescient all the time.
