This idiot female journalist on Reliable Sources
is whining that Bush is held to a higher standard than Kerry! she's from San Francisco and is a Hardcore RWer - typical CNN - puts on a SF journalist who is Right of Attila the Hun.

I CAN'T STAND IT AND IT'S ONLY SUNDAY!!!!

But I'm addicted...I admit it...Breaking news in Kabul big trouble making the sorld more democratic. Another success having foreigners targeted and killed en masse. We're just turning the corner...

17. She's no "journalist"
She said that the essence of journalism is "conflict". That's an idiotic statement. The essence of drama is conflict. The essence of journalism is truth. Maybe it's the modern TV corporate media definition of journalism, however. I have heard that in TV news departments, there are meetings similar to the meetings held in Hollywood studio story departments on how to make the story and the script punchier and more dramatic, to appeal to the addled masses. That's no way to look at journalism, however. Heightening the elements of conflict in a news story to create drama and interest is the essence of being a journalistic whore and hack.

there are always plenty of job opportunities on TV for people who are willing to sell their souls to spew the Repug line!

7. One of the job qulifications is you have to be
ugly in body and soul.

It's like the old saying, "Beauty is only skin deep but ugliness goes right to the core."

6. It's going to be quoted often...you can count on it
She said there is a double standard.
Kurtz asked why...and she said because most journalists support Kerry.
The right-wing will be using that quote as "evidence" for the months.

:grr:

8. Yes. . .she is an idiot. . .
. . .I think the biggest thing that needs to be pointed out is that difference is that the Swfit Boat vets got so much press it was the responsibility of the press to push president Bush. Whenever MoveOn.org does something the press the not give their message any credibility.

12. Kudos To Chris Bury For Shutting Her Somewhat Up...
First, she makes the wingnut meme that "most the media is liberal" shit...which immediately blew her out of the water with that panel. Even whore Kurtz looked amazed.

Deborah Saunders is this wench's name...even went on to cite Faux as a "credible source" and did the Swiftboat Assholes = MoveOn meme. After the Kabul report, Bury took on Saunders for those old chestnuts of the right wing.

John Roberts, who I very much respect as one of the few bright lights in national media, pretty much stood by...with the look of "I don't know these people" throughout most the show.

Unlike others who are in an uproar of the incredible wingnut whoring that's going on...I say "bring it on". Just like the DNC was the chance for Kerry to "introduce" himself, this whorefest will show the GOOP as being a party totally out of control and contact. Of course they're gonna shill and lie, that's in the fundamental fabric of this corrupt party. That's what will come out and not be missed on many.

13. "In a world full of labels, Saunders is herself"

http://www.townhall.com/columnists/BIOS/cbsaunders.html

In July 1992, Debra J. Saunders became a columnist for the San Francisco Chronicle. Her column currently runs on Sundays, Tuesdays and Fridays in the paper. Before working for the Chronicle, Saunders worked as a columnist and editorial writer for the Los Angeles Daily News, beginning in 1987.

Saunders' column is syndicated through Creators Syndicate and runs in newspapers throughout the country. In addition to writing her syndicated column, Saunders has written pieces that have appeared in the Wall Street Journal, the National Review, The Weekly Standard, Reader's Digest and Reason magazine. She has also appeared on "Politically Incorrect," CNN, BBC radio and "The News Hour" on PBS. Her book, The World According to Gore, published by Encounter Books, was released earlier this year.
In a world full of labels, Saunders is herself. A one-time registered Democrat turned Republican, she claims no loyalty to either party and takes pride in her unpredictability and irreverence for big-party politics. "I'm a Republican," she says, "but not a good Republican."

Saunders' political experience includes stints working as a writer/researcher and account executive for Russo Watts & Rollins in Sacramento, Calif., and Todd Domke Associates in Boston. With both organizations, her political work included research, issues strategy and advertising in U.S. Senate and congressional races. In addition, Saunders also worked for the Republican leader of the California Assembly.

19. I Love That "Was A Democrat Now Repugnican" Crap
No such animal ever existed. If you were a Democrat when you wanted to party and became a Repugnican to whore and be greedy, you were a Repugnican to start with since all you are in it for is yourself and nothing else. That's NOT being a Democrat.

That sure doesn't look like the hag on a broomstick I saw this morning.

"The man who would be President, Al Gore, claims he invented the internet. He also claims that he and Tipper inspired Love Story. And he says that after his sister died of lung cancer he promised to fight smoking "until his last breath," although he continued to cash checks from the family tobacco holdings for years after. In The World According to Gore, nationally syndicated columnist Debra Saunders goes in search of this man who seems always looking for the truth about himself. Saunders concentrates on the ideas, which Gore has tinkered with throughout his career in an attempt to build a worldview. "Whether posing as the eco-guru battling 'consumptionism'," she writes, "or the social theorist with a 'Livability Agenda' calling for federally sanctioned communities, or attacking the automobile as the scourge of civilization, or proposing universal pre-school, Al Gore is, for all his supposed woodenness, a unique figure on our political scene. Fascinating and funny, this search for Al Gore deconstructs his carefully constructed image with wisdom and insight. Illustrated with family and political photographs."
