Let me frame this. She got prego at 18 and from a fundie household. Her parents/family immediately surrounded her with love and help. They were there for her. She said "mom and dad would have never done something so stupid as to drag me around the country during such a tough, emotional time."
I never see my wife get too emotional about people running for any office but she is seething this morning.

3. You know what...I travel for a living and have two kids

I know it is not ideal to be away from the kids and my wife who is a teacher. It is tough.

But if I found out my 17 year old daughter was prego and had four other kids I wouldn't travel. I have two kids and my wife and I decided that if we shoot for a third I am done traveling.

go to a lunchean in tx then get on a plane going away from medical care, a month early from due date, at 44 so high risk anyway, and with a down syndrome baby that would need special care. then when she lands in anchorage she still doesnt go to hospital but drives another hour to her small town of 6k.

btw... your wife's expression is exactly what i immediately thought and this one, totally outrages me. the mom thought about herself first.... not her daughter, that is not what a parent does.
