Who checks here FIRST for news about this election??

I check here first because I know the top story will usually be at the top of the list!

And who else is WAITING for some big news to break about Palin even thought I doubt it will?

by those people who think they're being clever when they post false and misleading/sarcastic stories. Really annoys me.

5. I kinda do because most news now has commentary and I prefer the DU commentary here

Because at least for the most part, it's more reasoned and intelligible. Plus, I already know the bias of the commentary unlike in the MSM (besides Fox) where it really is hard to discern sometimes.

7. I don't even watch the news anymore if I can help it.

This place always has the freshest news. My husband likes to park himself in front of the tv and watch CNN, and I'm usually sighing "Geez, this was reported, analyzed, debunked, and put to bed three days ago on DU." He's a member here too, but not an addict like me.

I check first here for all news, not just election news. I've been doing it for years.

Every so often, DU will crash for one reason or another, and I really start freaking out.

It's a great resource!

People here are really on top of things. And I'm always the one amongst friends and family with the info first, because of DU. Ha ha!
