1. Interesting comment from Anchorage Daily News by her opponent for Gov.

The reaction wasn't so rosy elsewhere. State Senate President Lyda Green said she thought it was a joke when someone called her at 6 a.m. to give her the news.

"She's not prepared to be governor. How can she be prepared to be vice president or president?" said Green, a Republican from Palin's hometown of Wasilla. "Look at what she's done to this state. What would she do to the nation?"

If you go to DailyKos where they have a thread on this there are numerous quotes from several Alaska newspapers slamming Palin for her part in the incident. This turned out to be a big deal and did not reflect well on Palin. At all.

The actual audio clip is pretty short but it's worth listening to because the radio dude practically makes an announcement before calling the state senate president (and Palin's arch enemy) a bitch. There's no way she didn't know it was coming and yet she just sat there and let him do it and then she cracked up!
