This is a job for Hillary
So .... yesterday, the monumentally insubstantial Ms Wisilla 1994 (or was it 1982? Who cares?) said she was going to finish the substantial job the substantial Hillary did with the 18,000,000 cracks in the glass ceiling.

I don't **think** so.

And I'll bet neither Hillary nor her supporters think so either.

It seems to me that if Hillary were to go after Ms. Teen Alyeska the contrast - on the issues and on the persons - would be glaring and it would save Joe Biden from having to do it - a far more risky and dangerous strategy if only for the visuals. I think having Hillary lead the charge against this incredibly insubstantial nominee would do two things. It would make her look even less substantial than she is and it would make our side even more unified than we are now.

And as a side benefit, if Hillary *does* have any remaining presidential aspirations, this would show her to be a party loyalist of the highest order and win her huge kudos if she is seen as having played a **key** role in working for the election of Barack Obama.

Win/Win/Win

1. The key really is to attack McCain on his pandering and/or judgement
His choice proves he either has poor judgement or refuses to put his country above pandering to win the election. It nullifies the experience issue. It insults women.

6. Very true. Hillary can take the gloves off.
McCain wants us all treading on eggshells just because Palin's a woman.

Hillary can make attacks on Palin without frivolous accusations of sexism (well, ones that aren't obviously frivolous,) and if the GOP tries to go at this from the PUMA angle, she can throw a monkey-wrench in that line of attack.

10. Neither is John Kerry. The m$m loves Hillary and she's exactly the one to take
this one to the mat.

She'll destroy Palin.

8. It'll be interesting to see what she does
I wasn't a Hillary supporter during the primaries but I always - always - saw her as a highly qualified, strong, committed candidate who, if elected, would make a good president.

To see this Jesse Helms in a dress try to compare herself to Hillary was just gut-wrenching. There's really no one else who can address this in a respectful yet pointed way but Hillary Clinton. Let th ticket pile on McNut and let Hill take on this lightweight.

17. Hillary does not need to lower herself to any comparisons. Let Biden handle it.
reality speaks for itself. There is no comparison. Let her remain above the fray and the attempt to suck her back in fail... and let Biden do his job.

19. Barbara Boxer has already taken the gloves off. There's a whole
team of Dem women Senators who could tag team taking this wannabe down.
