1. I think Biden will know
exactly how to handle her. I'm not in the least bit worried. I'm only worried that she might not agree to a debate at all.

9. No, the debates have been set
she's not in charge of that - I think the VP debate is the beginning of October.

2. Could it be possible that this is the reason that they are pitting her
against Biden is that they are counting on him being a gentleman and not ripping into her? I hope he can separate the brain from the gender.

4. As a woman,

I am looking forward to Biden ripping her apart. She should not expect to be treated with kid gloves because she is a woman. I agree that Biden should not use kid gloves just because she is a female. If he does he would be letting the feminists of the United States down.

edited for typos.... too much allergy meds.

5. I can't wait for the debates
First we will have Obama running circles around McPOW then we will have Biden destroying Failin. Both of them will be made to look stupider than they look now.

6. you are a fool if you think Biden would "rip her apart". He can't. The mediawhores would crucify him
too many people would then sympathize with her.

14. There is the other side of Biden we don't see much.... but we know it is there
He has the ability to rip apart somebody's policy with a smile on his face... I've seen him do it, and in this case, he MUST....

Meanwhile however, Conservatives are certain she will crucify HIM in the debates.... I don't think so...

11. Michelle Martin made an observation on Real Time that Joe would
have to approach this delicately, and she reminded the audience that Rick Lazio plummeted in the polls after his debate performance with Hillary because even Repub women felt that Lazio had treated her too roughly. I hope Joe will handle this situation with all the expertise that I'm sure he's capable of.

13. It's not just the gender thing
Remember when Gore was so much smarter than Bush in the debates? Remember how the MSM chastised Gore for displaying his intelligence? for showing up that poor little Georgie boy? If Sarah Palin manages to string together one sentence that makes sense, the media will say she did better than expected.

Yes, Biden needs to be careful. BUT that said, in my opinion, the entire Obama-Biden campaign has been flawless so far, demonstrating an enormous understanding of every aspect of this campaign. I don't think they'll let us down now.

16. Just watch a brilliant chef at work
With the precision of a laser guided missile, Joe will zero in on her policies, leaving out anything personal. He's done that for years, so he should be good at it. With the brilliance and flair of a master Benihana chef, Joe will fillet, thin-slice, stir-fry, and serve her stances, positions, and policies back at her, with a nicely sliced garnish.

Afterwards, backstage where Sarah is sitting and looking stunned, Joe will come over and say those immortal words that rookies of any sort hear from the All-Pros that smash their faces in the turf. "Welcome to the big leagues."

17. Funny how the MSM is talking about Joe needing to be "nice" to her
If she wants to "break the glass ceiling" she better be prepared to be able to debate with the best. If she starts to cry or acts like a whiny little whoa as me baby that won't look good for her either-her inexperience will really show through. I find all this talk of having to be so nice to her condescending as a woman. I would get in there with the men and state my views and be heard...like Hillary. I argue with my right wing father all the time about politics and I am not afraid of anyone being too "tough" on me. If Palin needs kid gloves then she ain't qualified. I hope Joe takes her apart.
