Yet another meme: Palin equals Harriet Miers.
Remember her?

The unqualified woman for the Supreme Court?

Who got her job based on her conservative bondafides and her loyalty to the Bush admin?

The same Harriet Miers who is involved in the Justice Dept partisanship test schenanigans?

1. But with nominating Miers for SCJ, the repubs can say they nominated
a woman. Same with Palin. They know McCain's going to lose, but they can now say they nominated a woman for VP.

2. Not at all. Myers was picked because she adored bush. Palin's met McCain twice
Myers was picked because bush thought he could get away with it. Palin was picked because McCain's desperate.
