What did you think of the convention?

I thought it stared a little slowly but took up an increasing momentum as it went along. I'm glad to see it wasn't ruined by riots and arrests. I'm glad it seemed smooth and organized. I think we looked very professional and cohesive. Last night was spectacular. I'm not surprised but a bit disappointed with the ugly comments from the other side about our filling that stadium to the brink with an excited and exuberant crowd, looking like a rock concert and some kind of a Roman Colosseum. An Obamaseam? Did anyone else think Nancy Palosi fell pretty flat especially when she tried taking credit for having N.O. put back together? It's not.

4. I thought Warner was the worst

didn't help himself move onto the national stage with that turkey. But the Dems rolled out their great speakers and each gave a great performance. I can't remember a time the party had this many people you could make the face of the party. It's not clear who the rethugs can combat this with. Bush can speak, McCain stinks too. Cheney appeals to the base... Their convention is going to be a smearfeast because they got nothing to say and no one to say it.

7. I was impressed with the line up of Military men

supporting, Obama. That says a lot as far as I'm concerned. There were enough to go from one side of the stage to the other.

A republican friend of mine even instant messaged me after the speech and said he was highly impressed.
