The two staunch republicans in my office on the Palin pick
I told the two staunch republicans in my office that it looked like McCain was going to pick Palin. They were NOT happy. The actually said that McCain just lost the election.

2. I seldom agree with Republicans, but I think the two in
your office have this one right.

If Palin's the pick, McCain's cooked.

3. They just destroyed their one rationale against Obama. We now have a heavier-weight ticket.

5. Have you discussed Bob Barr with them?
Perhaps you could print out some Barr literature to help them?

8. on MSNBC just now buchanan said that mccain has decided to make it
an idealogical election. it worked for them in 04, so they think it will work again. going to the right and going for the base. that sounds good to me. considering that the base is smaller than it was then, and independents are going to run away from mccain.... please.... in a year about economic woes, how many are going to be worried so much about ideologies? people are gonna vote their pocket book when their pocket book is empty.
