Republican Convention to use "artificial intelligence" crowd generation software
The core message for the Republican Convention and getting a larger than actually present crowd will rely on "artificial intelligence".

Because there will be a big problem with Republicans wanting to go to the GOP Convention (mostly not to tempt themselves at the airport toilets and to cut ties and association with Bush/Cheney), the RNC has contracted a animatics software company to simulate crowds:

The RNC contacted an animation company to fulfill the "need for crowd interest in the convention. Jarrett and Mann, unemployed Republicans who downloaded animation software realized that they had no other choice but to develop their own crowd simulation software utilizing CG animation and artificial intelligence.

A team of 10 programmers worked full-time on the project for a month, ultimately producing some 40 different applications combined into one user-friendly program. Two major components of the software were the motion capture database, dubbed Emily (for M.L.E.: Motion Library Editor), and the animation program, dubbed Alice. “There were two steps in creating and animating a CG Republican,” explains Jarrett.

“First, we gave him racist, homophobic tendencies and body language: he was able to see, hear, feel the ground under his feet, make the difference between a Republican and a Paul supporter. Then, we told him what to do with this information.”

The same software to generate soldiers in the movie "Troy" will be used.

Asked if this was cheating, RNC Animatics Director (and Ministry of Truth associate) Bif Blinkerton said that creating virtual crowds "adds to the infopropagandment value added brand takeaway paradigm shift".

:sarcasm:

First thing though, they need to be able to figure out how to use the footswitch on the computer.

How is that gray thing used when your feet are pressing the whatjamagig?

2. I heard they called Bill Cardille from Channel 11 in Pittsburgh
asking if he still had those cardboard crowds he used to have on late night Studio Wrestling.

5. Never missed Chilly Billy Cardilly. Remember those Studio
Wrestling matches they had on late night? They would have Ringside Rosie and a half dozen other people in the front row and a picture of a about a hundred people behind them.
