Poll question: So after Hillary's speech what do you think now
Edited on Wed Aug-27-08 08:46 AM by LynneSin
I'm curious to hear everyone's stance...

Edit note: This is based on who you supported after the primaries. I didn't start as an Obama supporter in the primaries but picked up later on and was for him 110% in the end before this entire mess.

1. Silly me, I thought this poll was going to be about our opinions of Hillary
*Real* Democrats have been behind Obama for months.

4. How's that? Obama secured the nomination months ago.
And McCain's positions (and the Republican party platform) are pretty much diametrically opposed to what Clinton has worked for all of her life, so a Clinton supporter doing anything except support Obama 100% is a true fool, blinded by some cult of personality at the expense of their own interests and the best interest of the nation.

I have to assume that the real number of Hillary supporters who are this blind to their own interests (and the best interest of the nation) in relatively small and that the media is distorting their numbers to add "drama" to the convention.

Hopefully being *that* stupid is a fairly limited phenomenon.

5. You've got a point. But it's over now - at least as over as it's gonna get.

3. That's very true
Just trying to weed out a few idiots

But I am interested in the first two options. I really do beleive there were true Hillary supporters out there that, out of sense of loyality, wanted to fight for Hillary until the end but after that speech realized that it was more than a candidate they should be supporting but the idea of a better world that could be done if we had a democrat in the White House.

7. wow one person still not voting for Obama - fucking troll
I do respect the other 5. I know there were doubts from some supporters and for the 5 who are now 110% in the Obama/Biden team - welcome back!
