I just sent Hil Clinton a thank you email, for her amazing speech

on Tuesday night.

I confess, I got very angry at her during the primaries, because I felt she crossed the line in some of the things she said and did regarding Obama. But dayam! She could NOT have given a better speech, IMHO, than she did on Tuesday. She acknowledged how far she went in her campaign; she acknowledged her supporters, and most importantly, she unequivocally got behind Barack AND she kicked ass where McSame is concerned!

I could not be prouder of her!

Thank you, Senator Clinton!

1. I thought she was Hillary at her best.

Absolutely on fire, absolutely dedicated, absolutely ready to do what it takes to give us back our country.

No hesitation, she tooted her own (deserved) horn, she tooted Barack's horn, she tooted Joe's horn, and she made a wonderful reference to our own Big Dog - with graciousness, with intelligence, with fire, with wit, and that gorgeous daughter of hers on top of it!

She kicked ass and took names - and the names she took had better watch out, because our Hill can play payback with the best of 'em!

What a fighter!

She will continue to make the difference.

3. I was so inspired tonight, not just by Hillary, but by her supporters.

My mom is a Hillary All The Way gal (at 92) because Hillary knows reality, even in WWII vets, VietNam vets, etc., and all the folks who believe in education for everyone, health care for everyone, job security, and the support she shows for the "little guy".

She and Barack are not apart on anything, except presentation. And after her speech tonight, they are apart on NOTHING. Hillary kicks butt, and I really, really wouldn't want to be on her bad side! With Joe Biden, Hillary, Ted Kennedy, Dennis, and all the rest - I can't see losing.

My very best friend said if McCain wins, he'll leave the country. He's 60, a union member, a lifelong Alaskan, and a huge Obama supporter. He's also for gun rights, hunting, a volunteer and supporter of the Iditarod and Yukon Quest sled dog races, and for opening up a portion of ANWR to drilling (mostly because our job market has us at about 15% annual unemployment).

But differences are what bring the Democratic Party together, because WE believe we can work through them. The Repukes? They must march in lock-step with the right wing "Christians" and the neocon Big Oil/Big Pharma/Big Insurance bunch, or else.

I'd rather squabble with my family than be dictated to.

Hillary, I am so proud of everything you stand for, everything you've accomplished, and even more, for everything you'll continue to do as a true American. :patriot:

If the pukes manage to steal this one too, I'm seriously thinking of moving out of the country. I don't live all that far from the Canadian border, actually, and I love Vancouver and Victoria.

I just couldn't stand it if McSame won, but I think Hil did an amazing job at gathering more Dems to support Obama.
