And I mean that on several levels. There's the obvious one, that Pat's going to get his teeth kicked in no matter what he says because, you know, he's Pat and he's in a room full of D's. But also, having Pat Buchanan try to talk intelligently about what Democratic voters what or need is like trying to get a fish to talk about walking. I wouldn't expect me to give accurate commentary about what conservative voters want (I'd probably just say something snarky about fear and greed), and so too with Pat. He seems genuinely shocked when Democrats don't take the low road, as if he could never conceive of another way.
