I am sad that Stephanie Tubbs-Jones wasn't able to hear Hillary's speech tonight
After being one of Hillary's most ardent supporters during the primaries, I wish she could have been there tonight.

Thank you for 1-6-05, Congresswoman Tubbs-Jones, RIP.

15. I do too...
She was a great woman. Always stood up for everyone's rights in this country. Sucks that she has left us too soon but I'm sure she is very happy with what went on tonight.

4. What a heartfelt, bear hug, Bill gave her son
this was really touching. I wonder who he was at the time to merit such a warm and feeling hug.

12. You know I did not agree with her on the Primeary but I always
came away from listening to her feeling better. She was so upbeat I couldn't help but smile. We will miss her greatly.

I hope they elect a great Democratic Rep, though, in the Special Election.

I wish she could of have been there. Her son should be so proud, his mother was an extraordinary woman. A Great loss for our party.

19. so am I.
She was my rep., and while I disagreed with her during the primaries, she always handled herself with grace and class, and I never heard her take a cheap shot at Obama. Had I known that she and Hillary were close personal friends, I would've been less inclined to be annoyed, but even that annoyance didn't phase my general support of her. She was a class act all the way.

BTW, I was surprised at the genuine 5-minute tribute Chris Matthews gave her on Hardball the Monday following her passing. He was sincerely moved and very much liked her.
