Lets break down McShames VP choices- please real analysis only
Please remember that by picking Biden he has changed the game- He has forced McShame to look for someone who can hold their own against Biden ( all admit is a great debater) and has changed the dynamic of who he can pick... All of you remember Fred " I will run or wont run " Thompson at the debates. I mean even the dead would have got up and changed the channel when this guy spoke. The person Mcshame picks must be articulate and that believe it or not is hard to come by. The networks wont talk about this because they are all to stupid to look outside the box and at the game plan the Obama team is putting together but we can discuss. I mean they still have not figured out that the idea about the text message was to get a working phone number that Obama can reach you at on election day...

Now to my own analysis of Mcshames VP pick choices

Mitt " plastic man" Romney - Could bring Michigan into play and shores up Mcshames short comings on the economy: To bad Mcshame does not like him plus they have been running quotes all day about what Biden said about Obama during the debates and picking plastic man with all the good things him and McShame have said about each other would come back to haunt them.. This choice is wanted by the base of the party but even Mcshame has some things he will not do to get elected...

Sara Palin- As I have seen on other post that she could attract the women vote but this would lose a critical edge that Mcshame is playing and that is Obama is to inexperienced. He would open himself up to questions to pick a Governor with even less experience then he says Obama has. Plus she has a investigation going on that would open up to many questions right now..

Fred Thompson - Pleezzz on droopy dogg. This guys would be loved by the base ( and Bassett hounds around the world) but he is so boring. Biden would look to good next to him. However knowing McShame he may in fact go here. One thing about Captain shot down is that he likes to be unconventional and this pick is it.. I have Thompson at the top of the list..

Tim the Governor of Minnesota: Well after Garnett (go Boston Celtics) left i do not know what to say about this state or where the votes will go by making this pick as it is hard to read. I just do not see this pick because like Palin he does not have enough experience and would take away their main attack against Obama.. I do however place him just behind Thompson on the Mcshame VP watch.

I know I have missed several other people such as Joe"I let Kerry down in the debates" Lieberman, Tom Ridge and Mayor "Police escort my mistress" 9/11. They are pro-choice and with the base it is not happening...

Please add if you can think of anyone else and why or why not they will be picked. We can all agree that Biden however is a game changer and forces Mcshames hand..

18. Pawlenty is boooring
Take it from a Minnesotan. He's been no great shakes as a governor and was only elected in the presence of third party candidates who bled off just enough votes from Democrats to cost them the election. Governor Bridge-Fall-Down-Go-Boom has no charisma and I doubt he'd even put MN in play. He's just another right wing duff sniffer who turned his back on his working class roots to go for the money and power. A zero.

I really do not see anyone Grampy could name that Biden wouldn't destroy in ten minutes.

3. Well, Palin in unswe investigation, Thompson is asleep, so that
leaves Pawlenty and Romney. Romney lends a bit of financial knowledge (if you want to believe it), but he's flip/flopped on damn near every issue there is! Pawlenty lends the Governorship background and a prolife posture, but he is unknown and has the personality of a worm! YOU make the choice!

5. Romney: not with the ads ran by McSame today
Then Mcshame would spend all day looking at replays of what he himself said about Romney. The one thing about Obama is that even after Biden said he was not ready to lead he never attacked back.. Mcshame and Romney have many comments said about each other that will come back to hunt them.

4. Here's my thoughts..

Romney- tempting choice electorally speaking, because he's very popular in Michigan and could help bring Mormons in Nevada. But these two said some nasty things about each other in the primaries, and they really dont have much chemistry.

Sarah Palin- Might bring a few female voters. But with Obama picking Biden, McCain's "inexperience" card
is pretty much out of the question, and if he picks Palin, that attack point is diminished even more. She could bring in some of the youth vote, as she won a beauty pageant and was a pretty good basketball player.

Fred Thompson- Yeah Right.

Tim Pawlenty- Minnesota is leaning to Obama by about 5 percent I'd say. The GOP Convention is here and with a VP from Minnesota along with the convention, it could turn red which could put Obama in a tough spot electorally. Pawlenty is kinda boring from what I hear. Think of him as the Repuke version of Evan Bayh.

8. I agree: Top choice Pawlenty
But he just may be to unknown and would strictly be a pick to try and take the state...

6. If I were running his campaign I would go for a woman or a Hispanic
Mel Martinez of Florida is where I would go or Kay Bailey Hutenson of Texas.

7. How about these two?
Rob Portman from Ohio and that young congressman Eric somebody from VA? They have both been mentioned, but I think they are both too obscure.

Governor Tim's last name is Pawlenty. He has been an active campaigner on the trail ... he could get the nod just for being young and from the midwest.

I heard Brownback mentioned this week. He could probably help with the fundie vote. ( :puke: )

I doubt very much if it will be Gov. Palin. My personal "fave" for McCain is Lieberman. He would be *perfect*! ;)

I have to go now. I suddenly have a stomach ache.

counteract that in PA. Of the names being floated around, only Pawlenty bothers me a little. We could use Minnesota.

15. Why I chose Ron Paul
Ron paul will get us out of Iraq and that is my main issue.. I switched to Obama after Paul quit because Mcshame will have us in a war with Iran the day after he is elected.
