How about a moratorium on Hillary hating? I'm actually glad she's not on the ticket.

It's going to be tougher to win in November, but we can.

Now, why not just leave Hillary and Bill alone? Quit demanding they do this, or that, or jump through whatever hoop YOU deem necessary. Quit "wondering" how her supporters must be feeling. Quit rehashing the primaries. Quit finding whatever fault you can dream up.

The choice has been made. Leave them be. And look into your own heart to understand your hate - and why YOU can't let go..

2. I stopped hating Hillary a while ago.
Mostly because I realized that her and Obama's policies were basically the same.

6. No. PUMA saboteurs cannot be permitted to post their poison unchallenged.
They will never vote for Obama, and they never would have.

29. I agree
that there is no point in attacking Clinton. She is a good Democrat and the PUMA mob have not and will not help her.

PUMA must be attacked for what they are - an RNC front and this Campaigns "Swift Boat" organisation but do not attack Hillary. They were already successful enough with their attempt to undermine her by claiming on Fcks TV that they cleared her debt by 4th July.

They do absolutely nothing to help us win in November. They're worse than the so-called PUMA's IMO. Hillary haters like to bring up the "evil" PUMA's at every chance, but really, this is just their shabby excuse to demonize die hard Hillary supporters, which in fact, it is fucking pointless. PUMA's don't hurt us near as much as the Hillary haters, since we need everyone's vote. They are the true dividers of the party, and have been around since the 1990's. I'm so sick of the Hillary bashing. And yes, you are MUCH worse than Obama bashers. MUCH.

swat at.

They truly do need to check out their motivations.

wanting a Democratic win or something else.

10. A lot of these people NEED their hatred
it's impossible for them to stop. A lot of them only supported Obama BECAUSE they hated the Clinton so much.

They need an external villain to blame for everything that's wrong in their lives.

They are unwilling to abandon it. They like the attention.

24. I don't know a single person IRL like that
Most of the Dems I know voted for Hillary in the primary and they are, to a person, supporting Barack. And not a single one ever created an "identity" around her. They just thought she would make a more effective leader. She didn't succeed in the primaries and they moved on to the general without missing a beat.

The only thing I can add to that is that they're not in control, they're just reacting. It's habitual.

The tricky part is to catch it in ourselves.

17. Little purpose for Hillary or Bill now in GD-P, good or bad.
Or, maybe we'll have to wait until after the convention, since they both have speaking parts.

Sigh.

There is another forum for all the, to be kind, "banter"...she's got here own DU support group, theres the Congress forum, or GD, or the Lounge.

Edited on Sat Aug-23-08 01:51 PM by The Magistrate
Calling forum members trolls and such violates the rules.

Sen. Clinton is a prominent Democrat, and divisive and imflammatory attacks against Democrats violate the rules.

Posts which do either of things should be alerted on. We will deal with them, and with the people who make them.

23. AMEN!
I just said much the same thing on another thread...

I'm glad she's not the nominee or the V.P. pick, but only because I don't think I could stand the "hunting of the President--the sequel."

She's smart, savvy, and ambitious (and that is NOT a bad thing, folks), knows how to throw an elbow AND take a punch in the gut and keep on truckin'. She would have made an awesome president, but the hounding she would have taken had she been nominated (or picked as v.p.) would have turned my stomach. Maybe she can take it, but I didn't want to have to.

Come on, Hillary haters. You won. Let it go, give it a rest. And I wish the mods would be more vigilant about policing slurs and smears about this fine Democrat.
