I love it. I'll bet that little narrative will not be borrowed by McCain. I'll admit I had my reservations about Joe. I like him but think that as long as he can remain disciplined he will be a fine VP. I do know he is respected by many world leaders as a savvy foreign policy expert.

I was surprised to hear my husband yesterday saying he was hoping for Biden. Kinda outta the blue and just like that. I've been more reticent, but the more I think about it, the more comfortable the choice feels. Obama knows what he is doing. He's made precious few mistakes in his campaign and the vitriol with which his opponents have attacked him says much about him and his message.

Let's get to work and help Barack and Joe shake up Washington.

1. Thank you for pointing this out.
And it was a brilliant thing to do. Wow! Obama is smart.

2. It was a gratutious slap in HRC supporters' faces
Who are already upset about her not being even vetted for the VP position. Yes, very brilliant on Obama's side to further discourage party unity.

13. Hey Skid - good to see you too!
Everything is well, it's just that I got a new job, so I need to lay off the DU, quite possibly on a permanent basis. How've you been?

14. We're doing okay.
We've had some health issues with a couple of family members so I quit looking for new project work until things could settle down.

I hope you enjoy your new job and don't have to abandon DU. PM me sometime if you have to. I alway enjoy reading your posts, even when we've disagreed.

11. Fuck those people
they need to grow up already. We simply don't have time to babysit them right now, it's a bit hard to get Obama elected while we are being blackmailed by the Hillary supporters.

16. Wow, that is some very creative logic you have going there.
The democrats who supported Hillary need to get behind the party and stop this crap now. This country is in too much trouble for middle school lunchroom politics.

17. I'm really sorry for you
Hillary is a HUGE target the pukes would love to get a shot at. Biden is a fighter who will hit them repeatedly.
Here's a little mantra to help you get over your bitterness, just say whitewater slowly and repeatedly until you get it!

19. Yes it was but at least it was blatant this time. It's too bad,
choosing Biden for VP finally gave me some confidence and excitement about voting for Obama and this stunt just wiped that excitement away.

Most of us didn't get what we wanted either but "we are gonna dance with the one who brang us."

Please try to remember that this is about our country and its future and though I feel the pain of people whose candidate didn't make it (mine didn't) I am 100% behind moving on.

I do hope that all those who feel battered and bruised can heal and I will offer a hug  to all of them because I know how it feels. We have to keep moving though, there is no more time to be divided.

edit typo

I never even thought of it.

Hey, whoever is inclined to judge members based on post counts, it just is NOT FAIR. My post count isn't over 1000, but I'm no damned PUMA.

I have contempt for PUMAS. They stink. LOL!
