I still don't think it's Biden
and I'm the guy who made that "smartest MFs in the room" graphic of Obama/Biden.

Think about it. This thing has been so hush-hush this whole time. The media were fed a few bones to chew on, then two or three of them get eliminated -- rather obviously, and in the press. By process of elimination, yeah, it's Biden. But that's only if you bought into the idea that THIS campaign would release their REAL short list. I mean, anyone can cross names off a list and get the answer. And it STILL hasn't gone out to the supporters.

At this point, naming Biden would be an anticlimax. We know already.

My father used to say, "Son, don't be an asshole." (Sorry, wrong quote.) He'd say, "Expect the unexpected."

Good advice.

If I were Obama, I'd choose Clark. (I'm not.)

2. and the news on Security Service detail for Biden is...?
I think the Obama campaign did not play this VP game perfectly. Hopefully they will learn from that.

This campaign is not above a ruse to throw off the scent.

3. I wanted Clark too. But - er, whoever. Unless it's a damn Republican...
...but I don't think Obama would be that stupid. It's not his nature.

9. VP means nothing
If he picked a Republican, I wouldn't care. The only Vp with any power in recent years is Cheney because the A$$hole in Chief doesn't know what planet he is on.

4. Do you know what? I don't care that much; it's a one or two day story,
then it won't be too important. I trust Obama to pick who he thinks is best to work with him, for us. That's good enough for me, whoever it is.

7. Biden will not be an anticlimax
most people haven't been glued to CNN or a political message board all day sifting through clues. It will be news to them. The press will love it because they will have figured it out. They're smart!

Meanwhile, the media has been talking about how much sense Biden makes (instead of trashing him) and McCain leaked that Romney will be his running mate (true or not) and nobody gave a damn. Hah!

8. I'm not sure, but it is starting to look that way
I like Biden, but I'm not sure he's the one to turn it toward the goal--I'm not convinced no matter what's going on in Delaware--but it does look like Biden's the one. Obama and ___________- it's all good.
