I think this is why an Obama victory will be so incredibly satisfying. Some of the anti-Obama crowd seems to be so much more arrogant and condescending than they were back in 2004. They turn up their nose at Obama supporters because they think they are just so much smarter and that we have no chance at victory. Just imagine their reactions to an Obama November victory. How humiliating would it be for them that the so-called "Kool-Aid drinkers" just kicked their sorry asses?

1. There is a phenomenon called reverse-elitism for anyone who wants to write about it
This notion that because you live in the "heartland" (whatever that means), didn't go to college, and are blue-collar that you are somehow more "American" than people who live in San Francisco, have Ivy League degrees and work in an office.

2. First be certain that you are working from a position based upon facts and truth
and then the results won't matter (unless the factless, false position wins).

People have seen me as condescending but I've always attempted to rely upon facts and truth as I've best been able to uncover them (and being open to being wrong with the presentation of new data).

I hope that the liars in the White House are driven out and removed from the international capitalist schemes they're screwing us with. I hope that Obama is able to avoid their standard lies/noise/derision and blatant fraud in their pursuit of their own selfish little agenda (of complete power over everyone else), and that we can begin a new era based upon facts and truth.

Look at what local Republicans did to Dennis Kucinich when he told the truth and detailed the facts. 10,000 of them voted for the Republican-sponsored Democrat running against him... Look for them to pull sniveling manipulation such as this, against Obama, including possible movement in the price of oil/gas. Anything to make the Dems look weak- especially if it's not based upon truth. Small egos will savagely defend their little territory at the expense of the greater community, both through the destruction of others who would contribute something valuable and through the lowering of behavioural standards. We've certainly seen Bush and friends doing this, and it sucks, doesn't it? Reject this at every level, or it will continue to be the standard. We must build a better standard, in which such destructive selfishness does not over-ride the greater good.

I don't want to laugh or gloat at the dethroned liars; I just want to get on with building something positive in place of the lies. I just feel sorry for those who must lie in order to prosper. Per the old hardcore modicum: "You don't have to fuck people over to survive". Of course, some do. They're the problem.
