If we think we are on tenderhooks what about these poor people? haha.

They must be going nuts.

1. I would think they all know by now.
Obama wouldn't be so mean as to keep them all worked up for this long. (And it's "tenterhooks".)

3. I agree, I feel sure they must know.
Belive it or not, some people still know how to keep things to themselves. And that's a good trait in a VP/confidante.

2. Well CNN's said that some of the ones crossed off the list already know about it.
So I think they won't have their schedule cleared since they know they're not the VP.

7. I found the article. That's for mentioning it.
Obama notifies candidates on shortlist

(CNN) -- Sen. Barack Obama called some people on his shortlist for the vice presidential slot Thursday night to tell them he had not selected them as a running mate, a highly placed Democratic Party source said.
Sen. Barack Obama says he has decided on his running mate but is not yet ready to reveal the name.

The source did not say which people got the call.

Obama has told some other potential running mates over the last few weeks that he would not be choosing them.

6. No news reports about anything Clinton has scheduled for tomorrow. But she has to go from NY to CA,
since she's in New York today and will be in Fresno on Sunday afternoon to address the United Farm Workers convention.

And a stop in Springfield wouldn't take her out of her way at all. :)

We'll see...

It's most likely Biden, judging by media focus. But I'm still hoping for Clinton because I don't think we have a very good chance of beating McCain without her on the ticket. And I'm so damn tired of seeing Democrats lose the general election. Choosing anyone but Clinton is likely to be a very costly mistake for Obama, one that will hurt all of us.

9. I'm Wondering Who Was Called From The Media-Sponsored Short List?
they did say on CNN that some were called if they were no longer being considered. Of course, they didn't say who was called:mad:

10. It was "reported" yesterday that he called them Thursday. Of course a lot
of things are being reported so who knows.
