Anyone else listening to Majority Report?

I think his name is Richard Mcahan (not sure of the spelling), but he's a veteran on there who was contacted by the Boatload of Liars, and they not only used his picture after he told them not to, but misrepresented his answers to their questions about Kerry on their site. He's tried to get them to remove it multiple times, but they haven't done it. He's actually contacted an attorney about it.

He's telling all the truth about O'Neill, etc.

They just mentioned that the site was down a few minutes ago. They didn't know when it would be back up either :(

Anyway, this guy was another Swiftboat commander on his own boat, knew Kerry in Vietnam, etc.

The Swiftie guys asked him if he thought Kerry was fit to command and he said yes, they put on their website that he was "neutral". They asked if they could use his photo, he said no if I'm not mistaken, and they did it anyway. He's asked them to remove the photo and they haven't.

He said he's fought beside Kerry and would do so again. He also said he's a registered independent who voted for Bush in 2000 but regrets it and will vote for Kerry.

He just said he's spoken with one. He didn't really give the impression that he was going to pursue legal action, but one can hope :)

8. Just checked the SBVT and they appear to have fixed it.

It now says "supports" on his picture instead of neutral.

9. I'm not sure of his name either - Janeane had trouble pronouncing his

last name - said it twice and sounded almost like 'melee' - you wouldn't think she would have trouble with McCann. We can find out when their site is back up.

I wish she had closed out their interview with him by summarizing, something like, 'thank you Richard - - -(whatever his name), former swift boat skipper,...' whatever. But she shot right into the next guests, the Bush's Brain guys, which was also very interesting.

Anyway, Mr. McCann, or whomever he was, said that Kerry was a totally excellent guy to serve with. They ran their boats up and down the canals ferrying various SEALs, special ops people and many others - picking up and dropping off - so they could conduct ground war maneuvers against the Vietcong. Typically they'd use two boats together, and he was always secure in the knowledge that Kerry 'would be there' if he needed back up.

I don't know if this means some of the swift boat skippers wouldn't necessarily cover their partners or what. (Wasn't O'Neill a swift boat captain? I wonder how well he covered partnering boats?)

He predicted that the next phase of the SBVT smear would be against Kerry's antiwar posture and said the whole effort is reprehensible.
