Look at Elizabeth Edwards...how many men could stand by their wife if she put them through that humiliation. The vast majority of Hillary supporters are on board with whomever Obama picks. There are a few crazed people claiming to be Hillary supporters (but who are most likely Repukes in disguise); and there are the Obama supporters who are also fine with whomever Obama picks. In order for there to be warring factions there needs to be more than one side interested in fighting -- and other than some crazed PUMAs there isn't anyone running around looking for a fight.

There may be "warring factions" here on DU, but I doubt that Obama will make a choice simply to appease us.
