Crisispapers.Org: BUSH AWOL
NEW BuzzFlash Interview: An Interview With the Author of "Deserter: Bush`s War on Military Families, Veterans, and His Past", BuzzFlash, August 20, 2004

"It was OK to ask Clinton about semen stains, but somehow impolite to ask George W. Bush why he can’t remember with any degree of precision what he was doing from May 1972-1973... Why not produce W2 forms for his pay from the period? Where are the crucial medical records? What do they say? I think I remember detailed exegesis of Reagan’s polyps up his intestines. What did they discover up Bush’s nose that’s private, one cannot help wondering?" (8/23)

6. I think we need to..
get more aggressive with this - LTTE, call-in shows, etc.

Here's something from the Smearvets FAQ:

Why are you not demanding that President Bush release his records?

It is our understanding that President Bush has released his records. If there are additional facts about his conduct in the military that should be disclosed, then we hope and trust that servicemen who had served with him will come forward as we have.

Pretty convenient, huh? Since no one even remembers seeing him for the year in question, they no no one will come forward.

Sort of like that response he gave a reporter who asked him about the rumor that he had been suspended because he got drunk and crashed a plane and he replied "That's easy. Where's the plane?"

9. Guard Service
NEW Dave Moniz and Jim Drinkard: Questions About Bush's Guard Service Unanswered, USA Today, August 23, 2004

"At a time when Democratic presidential candidate John Kerry has come under fire from a group of retired naval officers who say he lied about his combat record in Vietnam, questions about President Bush's 1968-73 stint in the Texas Air National Guard remain unresolved. . . . The White House has released hundreds of pages of records, but the files released so far haven't answered those questions. Since the documents were released in February, at least a half-dozen news organizations, including USA TODAY, have filed new requests for Bush's military records under the Freedom of Information Act." (See also Mike Pridmore's "Bush in AL but AWOL; Why Not TX?," and Philip Vargas' "Is Our Commander-in-Chief a Deserter? You Decide"). (8/26)
