I don't care whether we'd like the person in that spot, I only care about making them angry.

Bill Clinton for Supreme Court Justice? Dennis Kucinich as head of the FDA? Al Franken to chair the FCC? Ralph Nader as Federal Reserve Chairman?

5. You know that's my guy, too, Old Crusoe.
Waxman is exactly what is needed now at the Justice Department.

9. I'd like to see him identify a couple of ranking Republicans
from the Senate with Democratic Governors to weaken their numbers and knock them back in the pecking order a bit.

20. Waxman could easily indict McCain for covering up 9/11 investigation
and force him to release the remaining missing papers for review or be jailed. (AZ has a Dem Governor)

I'd like to see Inhofe and Coburn knocked out - OK has a Dem Governor as well.

I almost said WY, but remembered how they forced Freudental to appoint a moron to replace Thomas.

He would put the fear into the Duke Cunningham holdovers and the Enron remnants out there in Lobbyland.

4. My fellow Americans, I'm pleased to announce that Hillary Clinton...
..has agreed to replace retiring Justice Stevens on the Supreme court of the United States.

I really had wanted Elliott Spitzer to be the next AG, but he screwed that up. So I say bring back Janet Reno.

Yeah, I know some people want her to be the veep, but think about what a lifetime appointment to 1/3rd of the federal government would do to the heart rates of conservatives everywhere?

29. My few...
Every Republican senator from a state with a Democratic governor as ambassador to somewhere. With a Democratic majority in the Senate, we can confirm 'em all and get 'em on airplanes before they realize what hit them.

Hillary Clinton to the Supreme Court, and Bill Clinton to whatever's the most conservative circuit in the country.

Patrick Fitzgerald as Attorney General.

Ralph "Sonny" Barger as Director of the Office of National Drug Control Policy. (Although the guy's a Libertarian and suffering from cancer that would prevent him from taking the job, can you just imagine the brick they'd shit if someone appointed the founder of the Hells Angels to a Cabinet post?)

William Odom as Secretary of Defense.

Al Gore as head of the EPA.
