this is only good for us. Now all we need to do is tell the story of how McCain is an opportunist, pretend conservative who has voted with Bush 100% of the time this year, 95% of the time last year, and how his policies have and will explode the deficit even more, how he wants to continue these baseless wars and start new ones, and how his economics plan has been written by lobbyists on K Street. We need to show how this man is nothing more than a corporate stooge who is more than happy to ship American jobs overseas, cut off unions at the knees, and how his temper is explosive and dangerous. Republicans need to be demoralized because they should feel demoralized right now.

Under Bush, we have the biggest deficit in history.
Under Bush, we've had two, count 'em, two wars that this administration said would be easily won. We have yet to see that come to fruition.
Under Bush, energy prices have gone through the roof under two oil men.
Under Bush, we have seen record inflation, unemployment, and job transfers overseas.
Under Bush, we have seen the value of the American dollar plummet
Under Bush, we have seen our country's influence around the world lessened.
Under Bush, we have seen a mortgage and credit crisis unseen in decades.
Under Bush, crime has risen.
Under Bush, the rich have gotten richer while the middle class has shrunk, more people falling below the middle class income range instead of into the wealthy range.
Under Bush, education hasn't gotten any better and NCLB has made things worse and put an enormous strain on schools.
Under Bush, corruption has swallowed Washington
Under Bush, the healthcare crisis and climate change crisis has exacerbated

And McCain supported every last one of the policies which led to it.

Working people need a smart leader, not another Bush.
