Why is Obama playing this PR-Media cat-mouse game regarding his VP selection?
I really find it irritating and teasing in an unpleasant fashion....It does not impress me with leadership character. Anyone else feeling like they want to just turn off the TV, radio and go see a movie? I might even skip watching the Convention...well, probably not but I am experiencing political fatigue.

10. When I sit back, take a distant "breather"

I realize it is indeed political fatigue for me.........I've lost my enthusiasm at the moment. I want clarity! I won't get that until after the Convention. I hope there is positive energy to refuel my exhausted passion.

This Stephanie-Tubb Jones coma/life support/brain dead occurrence has not helped. I saw her and Congressman John Lewis a few years ago at a "Not This Time Vote Rally". Dynamic Lady! I'm depressed.

7. Seems to me that Obama isn't the one playing anything. He said
we'd know it when he announces it and not to believe anything the media puts out.

8. Obama is not the one playing the game. He said when you hear it from me, you'll know. It's the
media whose playing the game. Every pundit seems to have "heard" from some "inside the campaign" some "inside information." They are working themselves into a tizzy, and everyone else. But Obama isn't at fault. He gets to decide and tell the rest of us when he decides to.

13. Because it generates interest and free publicity.
And that's a good thing. America likes this stuff, cleary, look at our nightly entertainment: American Idol, Suvivor, America's Next Top Model and all that crap.

The media likes it, gives them something to do. Because Lord knows, we can't have a journalistic body in this country actually working on a real story. And the people like it, makes them feel involved. Look at the endless debate in this forum on is Veep pick. Its nuts.

14. Just wait ...
when he reveals his choice they will find everything wrong with that. They are already putting out the argument that he will HAVE to give a reason why he didn't choose Hillary..
