Rove wants the Swifties story to end now
the media too.

The first phase of the story has completed, with success. Many people believed the lies, to some extent. Mission accomplished.

The next phase is now starting, with the revelations and realizations that the Swifties are liars, and where Bush is held accountable for this.

That's why you are hearing the whores express their displeasure with this story, and the desire to "get back to the issues." They want to truncate the story before the backlash cometh.

Kudos to Kerry for sticking with it and finishing the job.

I would love to see Kerry continue the battle through the republican
convention. KKKarl doesn't want smirky's message lost in this debate. Keep it going Kerry! I would love to see the republicans having to answer to these ads next week and defend the liars.

5. Yep. The debates are where this story should face
It's high noon. Kerry asking President Bush point blank what he thinks about these sleazy tactics.

11. Wouldn't it be great during the convention if the repukes were forced to
answer for smirky's lack of service?

I am getting goosebumps just thinking about it! When all of the talking heads are on trying to push the lies about smirky's agenda instead they will be bombarded with SBVT lies and TANG records for smirky!

Let the message be lost! I hope Cleland is on the "truth squad" in NYC!

1. Exactly
Kerry is the one pushing it now. That WaPo article today mentions that some Repuke strategists are worried this could blow back on Bush.

2. And pinning Bush to SBVL right before the RNC
is excellent timing. As Bush is being forced to condemn negative tactics right as the RNC launches into a 4 day marathon attack ad.

3. I think Kerry should hammer Bush along this battleline til
Bush cries uncle. This shitstorm also keeps Bush off message and now ties his regime to the dirty tricks of the Nixon administration.

6. He's also afraiad shrub's record questions will resurface!
I heard several comentators talk about this yesterday. If Kerry's service record is disected, that resurects shrubs "missing" records into question AGAIN! I personally hate that we seem to be fighting the 'Nam war again, but what's fair for one.....

8. I think the whole thing was an effort to harm 527 orgs.
The liberal 527 organizations were raising more money than the conservative ones, and the ads they were running were more effective -- the Republicans had to do something.

What better for them to do than discredit the whole idea of 527 organizations in the first place by slapping one together to disseminate debunkable lies? That gives Bush* an opportunity to say "I told you all those organizations were wrong! I'll call mine off if you call yours off!"

Ain't working, and as a bonus they've found some ignorant rubes in Ohio who actually believe this crap, so even if they didn't get Kerry to ask the liberal 527s to back off, at least they managed to screw up Ohio some more. Not that I had any great confidence in Ohio anyway -- I live here, I know how much time the people around me spend with their heads buried in the sand.

We have a bit more work to do to connect your sorry fat ass to these liars. Oh, and there's this little four-letter word you won't hear even Cheney say...AWOL. Commin' right back at ya.

No need to get out of the pool while the blood is in the water, chump.

We'll show you what it's like to be in a war.
