OK it's Monday, time for all DUers to check in....
and report on how they are helping Obama get this thing locked up! I want to hear how others here are volunteering.

If you haven't been to your local Obama office I can tell you that they need you to join them in an effort to get the vote out! If you don't have the time to offer, they are in need of office supplies, office equipment, water and snacks to keep the volunteers happy. Take the time today to call or walk in and help these young people out.

If you have a spare bedroom offer it up to them. People are volunteering their time, flying in to work for Obama for free or a small stipend. If you have the space, offer it. I can tell you that every Obama volunteer that we have housed has been a neat person, totally dedicated to getting Obama into office.

Let's show our DU pride and let others here know what we are doing to help the Obama Team.

Don't be shy...I'll start by saying that we had a house party last month, we donate office supplies to our local office, we have housed several Obama staffers, we wear our Obama buttons, shirts and bumper stickers on a daily basis and we have our Obama signs in the yard. We have donated money to the campaign as well but I think the the other efforts help our local folks out more. If I were going to donate any more money I would go to our local office and asked them what they needed and donate that item.

Tell your story! We need to beat our own drum and bask in our efforts to turn this country around.

Peace and love, Kim

It was late in the day so I could not stay, but I got some voter registration forms. I have gotten a few people registered already and plan to keep plugging away with that. I also am fortunate enough to have a job that is related to the campaign, so I get to help Obama every day I go to work (which is just about every day lately, at least 6 days a week).
