Thanks, Hillary!
ESPANOLA, N.M. (AP) — Hillary Rodham Clinton on Sunday urged her supporters to work as hard for the election of her former rival, Barack Obama, as they had for her. "We may have started out on two separate paths, but we are on one journey now," Clinton told about 800 people at a rally for Obama in heavily Hispanic northern New Mexico.

Clinton shared the stage with elected officials, including Gov. Bill Richardson, a former President Bill Clinton administration official.

Clinton reminded her supporters that "if you voted for me, you have much more in common with Sen. Obama than you do with Sen. McCain."She said McCain, the presumptive Republican nominee, and President Bush are "two sides of the same coin."

That alone should cause Senator Clinton's words to have even more meaning

52. Oh, McCain remembers that he voted for those 'libruls'.
He just doesn't expect those in the church audience (or anywhere else for that matter) to look up what amounts to public records. He's shown us that he is willing to bend over and take it from anyone that will give him validation; he should have too much pride to do such a thing but how much dignity can he have if he lifts stories from Wikipedia AND another POW?

The GOP should be ashamed if Johnny Warmonger is the cream of their crop.

mccain also said he was against torture, but voted for waterboarding

mccain said he was against offshore oil-drilling, now he is for it

When someone tells you he will appoint justices like scalia and Thomas, I believe him

When someone comes out supporting the South Dakota bill banning abortion, EVEN in cases of rape, incest, and the life of the Mother

I believe him

When someone votes against a day honoring Martin Luther King, and can only say it was a mistake, but doesn't tell us why he voted against it in the first place, that tells me about what he really is

but we as the Democratic majority will not even let them out of Committee; at any rate, McCross will not get the chance to do it since Obama will be President and he will likely appoint NY's Sonia Sotomayor.

if Obama is elected. He will NOT retire while neocon fascists control the presidency. The only way he'd leave the SCOTS is with a toe tag. With BO in the WH, he could finally retire in peace and know that a real jurist would succeed him.

she's been giving since she conceded the nomination to Obama, yet it still isn't helping.

Obama has made too many mistakes in the primary and GE for Clinton to enable him to pull ahead. No doubt when he loses the GE, his supporters will blame it on Clinton, but the blame is his alone.

21. Au contraire, "my friend".
The more I see Clinton and Obama working together, the more enthused I become about an Obama Presidency. And this is coming from an "almost" Puma. But I discovered for myself that if I really support Hillary, then I must support Obama and come to the point where I can work for this campaign. Even if she isn't the VP.

Every candidate makes mistakes but the few that Obama has made are nothing that can't be overcome if we all get to together and work for him. In fact they are few compared to the ones that McCain has made.

Do you really want this senile old misogynist to be President? To have his demented, uneven temperment in charge of our armed services? I shudder at the thought.

24. We agree Clinton is doing a great job
and, as I posted before, many of us "near PUMA's" are willing to forgive and forget.

Sad to say, our forgiveness won't help Obama win if his misogynist supporters keep making the same stupid mistakes in driving women voters away from him. Obama's campaign needs to take a quick lesson in the history of feminism and women voters in the US if they expect to win this election.

We have a choice between a shot at prosperity, a return to Constitutional governance, new strides in international diplomacy, lower energy costs, and an effective anti-terrorism policy...

More war, more poverty, more fear, and the despise of the world under McCain.

What you and others have been hearing and seeing is the exaggerated statements of the MSM, and, of course, the "Operation Chaos" people, and I think you believed them because you wanted to believe them.

I don't pay attention to MSM but i do check in on many of the blog spots and the PUMA websites. I am aware of their numbers and "many" is a fair description.

a Vast majority of Hillary folks here on DU are very decent or completely silent so im not really referring to them.

If you want to assert that a majority of the people on the PUMA websites are actually "operation chaos" members, that fine , but frankly there is no way to know and that's simply what you want to believe.
