Registered a 76 year old Republican lady today...
..who says she has voted Republican all of her life, but that she wants to vote for Obama (as she said with a smile, "I call him Barry"). :) This wonderful lady moved here to SC from NY 3 years ago and is a neighbor, although I never knew her until today. I have been registering voters here in my communtiy for the past few months and I am telling you...the people ARE out there...we just need to find them! And this is how we win....from the ground up...one person at a time.

2. Yes, I'm helpingwith a Latino Soccer Event for registrations this Sunday.
Potentially 350-700 people there every Sunday. The potential to get many registrations is there and we're going to find them!

5. That's sooo cute! I don't get why people are offended when they use Barack's nickname.
I mean, he was called "Barry" as a kid. I think that it's affectionate.

Although it sucks when the neocons use it, I guess.

8. Barry is
certainly better than Husein or osama in republik speak. I encourage them to use Barry. when they use Osama I act like a kindergarten teacher... "I know osama and Obama are close and you are easily confused. But Osama is the terrorist republicans have continued to Ignore. His last name is Bin-Laden. Barack Obama is the Democratic Nominee for president."

usually this pisses them off so much they really reveal themselves as the bigots they are.

my response to Hussein is to go with John SADDAM McCain III
