Did you see what Olberman did to poor Barney? He showed footage of Dubya and his Posse celebrating Blue Shirt Day at the ranch but the cameraman focused in on Barney "on the ground" behind and to the right of the group.

It was not boots that Barney was putting on the ground, either, if you catch my drift. It was tasteless and degrading footage, shown merely to amuse insensitive humans.

I won't even comment on the cruelty of news editors who would draw a circle around a poor little Scotty going about his business, trying to shame canines everywhere.

My dog must have heard it because she asked to come in and she seemed at loose ends, wanting to explore the kitchen garbage, if you can imagine that. So I threw the ball for her in the hall. Now she's asleep so maybe the trauma's not too bad.

Oops, spoke too soon, she just gave a little cry in her sleep. I know she must be having a nightmare about being filmed and exploited by the media the way Barney was.
