Michigan Man to McCain: "Give us something to get excited about"

http://www.swamppolitics.com/news/politics/blog/2008/08/man_to_mccain_give_us_some_exc.html

John McCain dropped in for breakfast this morning, and a diner at Kerby's Koney Island diner in the Detroit area had a request for him: "Give us something to get excited about.''

The Republican's breakfast stop was a surprise. McCain was accompanied by wife Cindy, who had stopped in at a hospital for an X-ray the day before after an exuberant supporter shook her hand too hard.

The senior senator from Arizona is attempting to drum up some of the same enthusiasm for his own campagn in a state that has been hit hard by the turmoil of the American ecoomy.

...

Among the diners who spoke to McCain: Jon Busch of West Bloomfield, who said that he had delivered a simple message : "Give us something to get excited about."

Busch said that he had been underwhelmed by both McCain and his Democratic rival,Sen. Barack Obama, the junior senator from Illinois.

The Detroit News reports that Busch's assessment of the campaign so far is: Just "a lot of ..." and a motion of his hands imitating the talk-talk-talk of the candidates.

2. Guess he needs to sing Bomb, bomb, bomb...bomb bomb Iran again.
That will get the sharks in a feeding mood again.

Either that or tell them you are going to ship all the gays to France. That is a sure fire way to excite the right.
