Bush with Costas looks like a "B" actor trying to portray a president!
Edited on Sun Aug-10-08 08:10 PM by glarius
Watching him, it's impossible to take him seriously about anything. He is really, and I mean REALLY a joke! No matter what he says, all that registers to me is the images of David Letterman's "Great moments in presidential speeches" and the myriad of comedy lines that have been at his expense over the past few years. It's really pathetic. God I hope Obama wins! And now back to watching the Olympics. I'm switching back and forth between CBC and NBC.

9. Haha, you're all echoing exactly what I was thinking. Bob Costas was more presidential than Bush was
This is what happens when people vote against someone because they're "elitist." You get a guy that's dummer than your next door neighbor. I can't beleive McCain is even competing, because while he's not as dumb as Bush, he still can't speak with knowledge about almost anything other than a little foreign policy.

This is why we need to celebrate a Harvard graduated candidate, not tear him down for being smarter than others. The president should be smarter than others, for pete's sake. Only in America can it be better to graduate at the bottom of your class (McCain)than it is to be the president of the law review (Obama).

10. Religion
Every other answer he ignored Costas and blathered on about religion, and how when a country gets religious, it just takes over, and how he pressed China's leaders to allow religious freedom. What the hell was Hu Jin Tao thinking, the moonies have taken over?

If anyone taped it, a good drinking game would be to drink every time Bush invents a new pronunciation of Ossetia.

Also, after eight years on the job, can someone teach the GUY to stop looking at the monitor?

14. Yes! I was ready to scream, the way he kept pounding
that point over and over again, trying to suggest that all problems in China would be eliminated once they allowed organized religion! Exhibit #6532 that the guy is clearly without any fucking clue...

Edited on Mon Aug-11-08 02:06 AM by Gabi Hayes
he served up a series of apparently scripted questions, designed to catapult the American Century agenda, prefaced by this completely delusional remark:
