That was the WHOLE FUCKING PROBLEM with the last 8 years! That they couldn't fucking turn off the "campaign" switch! A lot of ex-Bush staffers claimed that it was just one eternal election campaign, which just meant lots and lots of extravagant promises without any delivery on them while they were supposed to do the actual governing.

That sort of thinking is why the DoJ is actually facing SUBPOENAS in the ultimate irony when they, the supposed arbiters of justice, have to actually be brought to justice themselves. The head of fucking FEMA wasn't even qualified to handle an emergency for horses, much less the disaster that was on the scale that Katrina was. And even the shadowy organizations of the FBI and CIA have actually been brought to such a low that even they themselves are ashamed (yeah, how else do you explain the fucking Suskind debacle?).

I just do not get what Rove is thinking. Where's your fucking eternal Republican rule now? Yeah, down the toilet because you guys were all douches for thinking it was just a game that showed off which one had the biggest political dick and instead just dragging the rest of the country with you while you Republicans went through your fucking midlife crisis complete with overcompensating sports car and way-too-young gold-digger.

BTW, I actually have a lot of respect for gold-diggers because it's a fucking full-time job and they work hard at it. More than I can say for Republicans-- at least the gold-diggers try their best to look their finest and give something back before trying to take you for all your worth.

PS Yes, I am extremely bitter about the systemic destruction of America that is motivated for something as ephemeral as money.
