This is a joke of jokes. A Pres candidate in Sturgis, while the biker week is going on?

Bikers used to be "outlaws" but now I guess they are just another over the hill wanna-be old timers.

Somebody pass them a hemmoroid donut.

2. McCain's new strategy...
I think it was Cenk Uygur of The Young Turks who said that since everywhere Obama shows up he draws huge crowds, McCain's new strategy is to show up at events with huge crowds for the photo ops... making it look like he's playing to huge crowds too...

good point, Cenk..!

9. You may be thinking of Rachel Maddow, because she said just that
You can watch the clip of her on Countdown where she makes that point here:

5. Budweiser is a large sponsor of the Sturgis bike rally, this wasn't a campaign stop for McCain
It was a business trip for Cindy, to see how the company was spending their money!!

Budweiser has been a big sponsor of the Sturgis bike rally for many years.

Here's a link to their sponsors -

7. Your guess is as good as mine. Probably 20 to 25 kegs, at least.
They said there were 20,000 at McCain's rally, out of about 200,000 that went to Sturgis.

13. They're Lying of course.. :)
There weren't no 20K bikers anywhere NEAR McCain.. I saw the video, maybe a few hundred.. I know because I lived in Sturgis for nearly three years, got the tatoos and everything :)

Worked with some pals making t-shirts on the fly at their shop downtown - we'd stroll around, watch the crowds, see what was Hot and then go make the appropriate t-shirt to sell a buttload .. Been at all the functions, know the REAL bikers, as opposed to the lawyers, realtors, dentist "bikers" that everyone calls "Rolex Rangers".. They can afford a Harley is all, they drag their bikes with a van to within two miles of town, put on their Spotless leathers and roll into town with no bugs in their teeth.. :)

Having ridden all manner of bikes for 30 years I personally prefer Nortons, and the real bikers can be seen hanging Japanese bikes in the trees at the campgrounds with a rope like Xmas ornaments :)

We had a great t-shirt that's always been a crowd pleaser, has a huge graphic of Charlie Manson's face on the front, and on the back it says "Charlie Don't Ride.."

They need to make one for McCain that says "Charlie Don't Vote.." :)

The punk can't draw a crowd, even at Sturgis, even with a rich wife (he whores out, worse, she Laughed, yech!) calling in the beer company..

What a Loser..

14. That's what I was thinking, too.
20,000 at his rally to hear that old tired man!? I kind of doubt it.

And you're right about the people who trailer thier bikes into Sturgis. So many people were upset about it a few years ago, some inventive soul came up with a patch you can buy that says "I rode in to Sturgis" followed by the year they went to the rally.

LoL

"bugs in their teeth", man I hate it when that happens. Getting hit by grasshoppers in the face at 55 m.p.h. ain't funny either, so I wear a helmet with a face shield.

Yeah, I know, I don't get the full "wind blowing through my hair" experience by wearing a helmet, but it's better than getting hit by grasshoppers or having rocks thrown up by the trucks ahead of me.

16. Lol.. You know there's a name for people that don't wear helmets?
They're called "Organ Donors"... :)

Ran my Norton Commando thru a nice flock of turkeys once rolling thru a Turkey Farm, just put my helmet clad head down and hoped for the best...

Some pals in Vietnam complained about 13 inch Rice beetles over there, wouldn't want one of Those in my teeth, my pal said they will knock you clean Off the bike.. :)

8. Not enough!
for them to vote mclame.. or at all!
what is the percentage of bikers that vote?
Aren't most of them just anarchists who dont give a rat's ass about the civilized world?
at least, that's what they project.

12. Free bud? Quick, call the media!!
He'd have gotten a lot more folks and press coverage if he'd been passing out free bud; as it was, it was just beer, and it doesn't burn all that well.

15. McCain's been crashing parties for years.
He's never showed up at an NRA rally, though.
