Morning Sedition Picked Up On The * Medal Story
During their "Reach Out To Fellow 12-Steppers" spoof, Mark Maron mentioned that * was photographed wearing medals he didn't earn and told him to stop playing dress up and wear his "big boy" clothes for once.

It was pretty funny, although they had Jim Wasser (Kerry's swift boat mate) on afterwards and he was fantastic.

Was there a Wasser? Maybe it's Rassmann, the guy Kerry pulled out of the water as the Viet Cong shot at them.

Which incident?

I found information that he was second-in-command to Kerry on that boat. And though I didn't find that he witnessed any of the actions for which Kerry earned medals, he offers a lot of testimony, in line with all of the other crewmates except for a guy named Garnder, who seems to have developed a hatred of Kerry over the years.
