Correct me if I'm wrong, but...
(re: the Moses ad..)

Isn't it generally considered bad political marketing to give your opponent about 90% of the screen time in your attack ad?

1. Especially when the analogy is about leadership and the featured
Biblical character was, quite obviously, a damn good leader?

If the quality of the production had been higher, I would have sworn that a demented Obama support organization had put it together...

2. McCain is trying to lose.
That's the only sane reason why anyone would make an ad like this.

8. Okay, but ...

Why do we assume sanity?

Or competence?

9. Never underestimate
the goofiness of the inhabitants of the Springer triangle, they will swallow anything. Draw a triangle from Cincinnati to Dallas to Jacksonville and back to Cincinnati, and see what you get. Although they have been suckered for so long, maybe even there change is possible.

3. They're trying to lose
so they can blame the coming economic disaster on Obama instead putting the blame squarely where it belongs.

6. It's definitely getting hard to argue against your claim...
we're either witnessing the most laughingly inept campaign in modern history, or the most insidiously genius campaign..

7. Yeah, it's pretty dumb ...

Giving him 25% is the upper limit, all of it devoted to showing him in a clearly bad light.

McCain's ad is just confusing at best.

10. It's particularly bad to concede your opponent is "the one"...
It's just an awful ad all around.
